Movie Monday - 7/25

For Movie Monday I watched: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)

The #moviemonday choice for this week was #charlieandthechocolatefactory with #johnnydepp #freddiehighmore #davidkelly #noahtaylor #helenabonhamcarter and many many more! I've been wanting to rewatch this #movie for a while now. On my #blog (#blogpost), you can see the #review for this movie. --- If you have any #suggestions for the next movie I should watch, please feel free to comment below!

This movie was comical and I enjoyed it. Obviously the original is always going to be a classic; however I like how this (newer) movie, even though it did stay pretty consistent with the original, it did have quite a few differences. Without giving anything away, examples of that are Willy Wonka's childhood being revealed and the ending was different. If I were to give this a rating from one to five (five being the best), I would give this a 3.75/4 because I enjoyed this, but I could see where others would not. In addition, with any movie there were some parts I would change.

On a final note, I thought it was funny during one scene (I was wondering why) the music seemed so familiar, and the reason was because Tim Burton directed both Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Alice in Wonderland.
